Terms of service

The service

Vivere monitors the liveness of jobs and URLs you register and sends alerts to destinations you configure. It is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but a monitoring service can miss an alert: our own infrastructure, your network, or a third-party messaging service can fail. Do not rely on Vivere as the only safeguard for anything where a missed alert would cause serious harm.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login and API keys secret and for what is done with them. One person or organisation per account; members you add see everything in the account.

Acceptable use

Do not use HTTP monitors or webhooks to probe, load-test or attack systems you do not control. Do not send more than a reasonable number of pings (we rate-limit at 120 per minute per monitor). Do not store personal data of others in run logs unless you are entitled to. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the servers behind it.

Plans and payment

Free plans are free indefinitely within their limits. Paid plans are billed in advance through Polar, our merchant of record, whose terms also apply to the purchase. You may cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds for the first 14 days are given on request; after that at our discretion. If a subscription lapses, the account returns to the free plan and monitors beyond the free limit are paused, not deleted.

Availability and changes

We may change features, limits and prices. Price changes for existing subscriptions take effect at the next renewal after 30 days' notice by email. We may discontinue the service with at least 60 days' notice, during which you can export your data.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by a missed or delayed alert.
